What Hair Type Do I Have?

  1. Straight Hair
  2. Curly Hair
  3. Wavy Hair

People are awesome and beautiful. No two persons are exactly alike and that is the beauty of it. Each person is unique in one way or another. Even twins are different from each other. This diversity is what makes the world more interesting and fun. This diversity also gave rise to different products and goods that cater to an individual’s specific needs. There are different types of food that appeal to different palates. Countless styles of clothes and shoes for those with unique fashion sense. Even skincare and haircare products have a wide selection to try to cater to all types of people. With so many products to choose from, how do you know which one is right for you? How do you know if this particular shampoo brand or type is perfect for your hair? Just like when choosing skincare products, the first step is knowing which type of hair you have.

Straight Hair

Straight hair lies flat from roots to tip and tends to be silky, smooth and shiny. Most women who have this hair type also have soft and fine hair. For those with naturally straight hair, you will see a high level of oil secretion compared to other hair types.

Curly Hair

Run your hand through your hair or just look in the mirror. If your hair strands have spiral shapes then you have curly hair. It doesn’t stop there. Curly hair can be further categorized into different types of curls. They are categorized from loose waves to very tight coils. As the most diverse of all the hair types, go natural and show off those beautiful locks.

Wavy Hair

Wavy hair is basically a combination of straight and wavy hair. It starts off straight from the roots but has a slight curl pattern as you make your way down to the tips. Women with this hair type tend to have thicker hair with a rough texture.
