"Who says you have to have short hair to use these? I have long hair, but unfortunately it's thinner than I wish it was. My hair extensions actually add the volume I have been looking for, but look so natural at the same time."

I think it’s safe to say that almost all of us want to have long and healthy hair. How fast our hair grows depends on multiple factors like age, genetics, diet and health. We cannot control factors like age and genetics, at least not for now. What we can control are our diet and health. We can choose what to eat and when to eat. Speaking of these factors, you know what else we like to do? We all love to eat. Being able to eat the food we are craving for boosts our happiness level. Basically, we are happy when we eat. So let’s combine our love for eating and our obsession with our hair. Let’s check out which food can give us that beautiful and healthy hair that we’ve always wanted.
Eggs
Eggs are a great source of biotin and protein. Why is this important? Biotin promotes the production of keratin. Keratin is a hair protein that makes our hair stronger. Aside from biotin, eggs are also a great source for selenium and zinc which are also essential nutrients for healthy hair.
Cinnamon
Not only is cinnamon delicious, but it also has anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates blood flow which can make your hair grow faster. It’s also good for your overall health. Have I mentioned how delicious it is?
Berries
Berries contain a lot of vitamins and minerals that promote healthier hair. One of these vitamins is vitamin C, which is a strong antioxidant. Antioxidants help protect your hair follicles from harmful chemicals called free radicals. Vitamin C also helps the body produce collagen which prevents our hair from becoming brittle.
Almonds
Want a delicious midday snack that helps in preventing hair loss? Go for almonds. They are rich in magnesium and vitamin D that help in preventing hair loss. Almonds also have low calories so that’s a big bonus if you are health conscious.
Spinach
Made famous by a cartoon character, This vegetable is loaded with hair growing nutrients like iron, folate, vitamin A and vitamin D. Vitamin A especially helps produce sebum which keeps our scalp moisturized and in turn, keeps our hair healthy.
